Drawing animals is a great way to teach kids art fundamentals like proportion, line, shape, shading and even a little perspective. This course will be very drawing focused and we will limit the number of mediums used so that the students can focus on shape and form. We would encourage them to keep an animal journal through the summer where they draw any animal or bird they see even a cow or a goat or a crow on the street.
