This course is a fun introduction to sculpting using a variety of mediums including Egg cartons, Plaster of Paris, Cardboard, Foil and found objects. Students will learn to work with form and balance and to think and work in 3 dimensions. We will introduce artists like Andy Goldsworthy who makes incredible sculptures set in the context of nature. This is a wonderful departure from clay studio which is our usual sculpting program. The sculptures can be taken home at the end of each day.
