The sculpture class will explore techniques like coiling, slab, pinching and students will learn to use clay tools to add details to their sculptures. Students also get an exposure to working with Plaster of Paris and use recycled objects to create fantastic and whimsical sculptures. We will reference sculptors like Rodin, Subodh Gupta, Henry Moore, K.G.Subramanyan and many others. Students can opt to fire a few of the articles they create at our studio. Students will also get a change to make their own pots and sculptures using an electric wheel. For this class we have guest artist teachers who skillfully guide the students.
