Job Description
RainbowFish Art Studio was founded eight years ago with a vision to help children discover their creative potential, through art-based learning. In time the business began to leverage technology so that quality Art education content could be delivered in schools as needed. As part of the studio’s young, dynamic team, you will join the mission to provide high-quality art education to schools across India. The team at RainbowFish is continuously generating new lessons that build the creative confidence of students from grades K-8 and promote Art Integrated learning across subjects. To help scale the impact to the next level the Studio is looking for a project manager with proven ability to drive design and execution of projects with schools and other stakeholders.

The day to day responsibilities would include
● Maintaining physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts and employee requests
● Update internal databases with new hire information
● Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies
● Gather payroll data like bank accounts and working days
● Publish and remove job ads
● Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed
● Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like total number of hires by department
● Develop training and onboarding material
● Respond to employees’ questions about benefits (for example, number of vacation days they’re eligible for)
● Create and maintain data on support to be provided to schools and for workshops
● Organise necessary materials as needed for the sessions
● Collecting payment from customer
● Coordinate and arrange for classes in studio
● Getting art supplies ready for all customers
● Answer phone calls

An ideal candidate would possess the following qualities
● Work experience as an HR & Admin Officer, HR Administrative Assistant or similar role
● Experience using spreadsheets
● Organizational skills
● Ready to travel within chennai
● Good communication and interpersonal skills
● Responsible and can take initiatives on own

● Function with commitment, minimal oversight and doesn’t need to be micromanaged
● Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
● BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field would be given additional preference

Compensation will be discussed based on the specific skills and experience of the candidate, and will be up to the market standards.
